Hotel Claska is a beautiful design boutique hotel in the Meguro neighborhood of Tokyo. For all its quirks and beauty Tokyo doesn't have very many off the beaten track hotels. I am not sure if it's because space is so limited, or because of location. But this was a refreshing treat after the bustle of Shibuya hotels and I do miss the Japan that isn't Shibuya. I must be getting old.
