One of the very important things I stress when I am giving the chance to talk to any young artist or class or I guess any poor soul who has to hear me speak.....Is that an important part of art making is to make your art accessible to all. It's what perpetuates your career. It is important to recognize the power of people who enjoy your art. Every single person who enjoys what I do, blows my mind everyday. I make these drawings and paintings because I can't help it. So the fact that I get to supply a demand, is a joy I cannot contain.
